8U Southeastern Elite Semi-final Game

West TN Indians vs Nitro (TN)

Florence, Alabama - The West TN Indians entered their semi-final match up winning all 3 games by a 15-0 margin over Hunstville Baseball Club and Huntsville Rockets.  Nitro entered with a 2-1 record falling to MAD Baseball Academy 7-4 while defeating Cullman Cats 11-2 and North MS Xtreme 15-7.

The first inning saw great defense at each team was unable to score.  The 2^nd inning saw Nitro go up 5-2.  All-tournament Austen Baker had an inside the park HR for the Indians.  The 3^rd inning saw the Indians take 9-8 lead highlighted by Luke Smith’s triple and Jake McDanial’s double.  The lead was extended to 15-10 after four with key doubles by Carson Plunk and Chaz Sanders.  The Indians went on to win by run rule in the 5^th 20-12.  Also representing West TN on the All-Tournament team was Noah Hawkins.
